Paracetamol (Tylenol®) is a painkiller to treat with respect but not fear. There are hints that taken too frequently it increase the risk of Alzheimer's and at the least is associated with onset of memory problems (reversible once you stop taking it) and misuse or taking it with Alcohol can result in potentially lethal liver damage. The the therapuetic dose is close to the lethal dose so the safety instructions must be followed. IN case of doubt consult a doctor or qualified pharmacist.
